Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms of use set out the rules for accessing and using the AtterriSafe website and application (the “Service”), published on a non-professional basis by a private individual whose identity has been provided to the website host. Any use of the Service implies acceptance of these terms. Information about the publisher and the host is given in the Legal notice.

2. Description of the Service

The Service is a free information guide for travellers arriving in Paris. In particular, it presents transport options from Roissy-CDG and Orly airports, indicative prices, a travel pass comparison tool, a list of tips and common scams.

It does not allow users to book or buy a transport ticket, or to pay for any service.

3. Access to the Service

The Service is available free of charge, without an account, from a web browser. Users bear their own internet access costs. The publisher may suspend, modify or discontinue the Service at any time, in particular for maintenance, without any obligation to compensate, and does not guarantee continuous availability.

4. Nature of the information

The information is provided for guidance only, to help travellers. It comes from public sources and is rewritten. Fares, timetables, routes, access conditions and applicable rules may change without notice. The information does not replace the official information published by transport operators or the authorities.

Users remain solely responsible for their decisions and their journeys. It is up to them to check essential information with official sources before relying on it.

5. Independence

AtterriSafe is not affiliated with RATP, SNCF, Île-de-France Mobilités, Paris Aéroport or any taxi or ride-hailing company. The trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

6. Permitted use

Users undertake to use the Service fairly and lawfully. In particular, it is prohibited to:

• reproduce, copy, distribute or resell all or part of the Service or its content without prior written permission;
• extract or collect data automatically (“scraping”) in order to build or feed a database or a competing service;
• attempt to disrupt the operation of the Service, bypass its security or access it fraudulently;
• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of third parties.

The Service offers anonymous feedback, whose use is described in section 10 “Personal data and feedback”.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, structure, design, illustrations and code of the Service are protected by copyright. They are the property of the publisher, except for elements belonging to third parties. Using the Service does not grant users any intellectual property rights. Users may use it for their personal, non-commercial use.

8. External links

The Service links to third-party websites (official websites, operators). The publisher is not responsible for their content.

9. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for direct or indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, in particular in the event of inaccurate or outdated information, delay, financial loss, theft or scam suffered by the user.

These limitations do not apply in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where the law prohibits them, and they do not affect the rights that consumers derive from applicable mandatory provisions.

10. Personal data and feedback

The Service requires no account and does not collect identifying data. The chosen language is stored locally in the user’s browser and is not sent to the publisher. The Service also uses anonymous audience measurement, without cookies or identifiers.

The Service offers anonymous feedback (guide useful or not, optional comment). Users undertake not to enter any personal information, or any unlawful or offensive content, in the comment, and authorise the publisher to use the comment anonymously to improve the Service. The publisher may delete any inappropriate comment.

11. Changes to the terms

The publisher may amend these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the website on the date of use.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Subject to mandatory consumer protection rules, the French courts have jurisdiction.
